1st Day: Lima / Iquitos / Visit to Native Community / Pilpintihuasi Reception at the airport “Francisco Secada Vigneta” in the city of Iquitos. Transfer to the selected hotel. Transportation to Bellavista harbor, Nanay River. Then we will visit Pilpintihuasi Butterfly Zoo, this place is an example of conservation efforts of flora and fauna where we will be able to see the complete life of cycle and learn about the impressive development of butterflies. Then we will start our trip until the joint with the majestic Amazonas River. Then, we will continue the trip by Momon River until we arrive to San Andres where we will meet the Bora Natives, who will make us participate in their dances, traditions, costumes and hand made souvenirs. Return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 2nd Day: Zungarococha / Hiking in the jungle / Night walk Breakfast at the hotel. Transportation to the Port of Villa Santo Tomas where we will board the typical boat “PAMACARI” and sail for 30 minutes by beautiful lakes tributary of Nanay River. Arriving to the ZUNGAROCOCHA AMAZON LODGE we will be welcoming with a typical beverage. Allocation of rooms. Visit and walk by the facilities located in a tropical jungle environment. LUNCH. Guided walk in the jungle, around 01.30 hrs. where we will appreciate various botanical and insects species. Afternoon free to enjoy the pool, ride in canoe or simple rest in our typical hammock bungalow built at the shore of ZUNGAROCOHA lake, enjoying the landscape and specialties of our bar. Night ride sailing on the ZUNGAROCOCHA Lake, enjoy the magic sounds of the jungle. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. 3rd Day: Visit QUISTOCOCHA Zoo / LIMA Early bird watching tour in the surroundings of the lake. Breakfast in Zungarococha Bungalows. Transportation to Quistococha tourist lodge, located at 6 kilometers from Iquitos city, this park has an extension of 369 hectares and surrounds the lake of the same name. The lodge has a museum, aquarium, the Serpentario (a place with different kind of serpents), little zoos; paths around the lake and a harbor were you can rent boats. It has a diverse fauna, fishes as paiches, sabalos and boquichicos; birds as the blue and red guacamayo; and mammals as otorongos, pumas, tigrillos, sachavaca, sajinos, huanganas, river wolfs, some monkeys and reptiles, between others. The Quistococha Lake has 56 hectares area, transparent and dark water due to the substances of organic matter and an artificial beach called Tunchiplaya. Transfer to the airport or to the city. THE ACCESS TO THE LODGE WILL BE BY BOAT IF THE LEVEL OF THE RIVER PERMITS IT IN CASE IT DOESN’T ALLOW THE ACCESS WILL BE BY ROAD.
