1st Day: Iquitos / Pilpintuwasi / Bora Natives / Wedding of the Rivers Reception at the airport “Francisco Secada Vigneta” in the city of Iquitos. Transfer to the selected hotel. Allocation of rooms. Transfer to Bellavista Port, Rio Nanay, to visit the butterfly zoo “PILPINTUWASI”, in this place we can observe an interesting conservation proposal and observe the butterflies flying around us. Continuing with our tour, we will visit San Andres community were Bora natives will make us participate in their dances, traditions, costumes, as well as their handmade souvenirs. After this, we will sail to the joint of Nanay River with the majestic Amazonas River. Return and overnight at the hotel. 2nd Day: Zungarococha / Night walk. Breakfast at the hotel. Transportation to Port of Villa Santo Tomas, were we will board the typical boat “PAMACARI” and sail during 30 minutes by beautiful lakes tributaries of Nanay River. Arriving to ZUNGAROCOCHA BUNGALOWS we will be welcoming with a typical drink. Allocation of rooms. Visit and walk by the facilities located in a tropical jungle environment. LUNCH. Guided walk in the jungle, 01:30 approximately where we will appreciate a variety of botanical and insects species. Afternoon free to enjoy the pool, sail in canoe or simply rest in our typical hammocks bungalow built on the shore of ZUNGAROCOCHA Lake, enjoying the landscape and the specialties of our bar. Night ride sailing on ZUNGAROCOCHA Lake, enjoying the magic sounds of the jungle. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. 3rd Day: Zungarococha / Visit Quistococha Zoo / Fishing Tours Breakfast at the Lodge. Transfer to Quistococha tourist Lodge which is located 6 kilometers from Iquitos, this park has the extension of 369 hectares and surrounds the lake of the same name. The lodge has a museum, aquarium, the Serpentario (a place with different kind of serpents), small zoos; paths around the lake and a harbor were you can rent boats. It has a variety of fauna, fishes as paiches, sabalos and boquichicos; birds as blue and red guacamayo; and mammals as otorongos, pumas, tigrillos, sachavaca, sajinos, huanganas, river wolfs, some monkeys y reptiles, between others. Quistococha Lake has an area of 56 hectares, transparent and darks waters due to organic matter substances and an artificial beach called Tunchiplaya. Return to Lodge for lunch. After the deserved rest, walk to Mapacocha to make some fishing tours. Return to Lodge and rest. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge. 4th Day: Zungarococha / Iquitos Very early, birdwatching in the surroundings of the Lake. Breakfast at Zungarococha Amazon Lodge. Transfer to the airport or to the city. THE ACCESS TO THE LODGE WILL BE BY BOAT IF THE LEVEL OF THE RIVER PERMITS IT IN CASE IT DOESN’T ALLOW THE ACCESS WILL BE BY ROAD.
