1st Day: Iquitos / Visit to Bora Native Community Reception at the airport “Francisco Secada Vigneta” in the city of Iquitos. Transfer to the selected hotel. Allocation of rooms. Transportation to Bellavista Port to visit San Andrés community were we will meet Bora natives, who will make us participants of their dances, traditions, costumes, as well as their handmade souvenirs. Continuing with the tour we will begin our ride to get the joint of the majestic Amazonas River. Return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 2nd Day: Iquitos / Pilpintihuasi / Quistococha / Iquitos. Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Bellavista Port to visit Butterfly Zoo “Pilpintihuasi”, in this place we will be able to observe an interesting conservation proposal where we could enter to a great observatory and observe the butterflies flying around us. Return to the city and to the hotel for rest. Transfer to the tourist zoo of Quistococha, located 6 kilometers from Iquitos city, this park has an extension of 369 hectares and surrounds the lake of the same name. The zoo has a museum, aquarium, the Serpentario (a place with different kind of snakes), small zoos, paths around the lake and a harbor were you can rent a boat. Its varied fauna show fishes as paiches, sabalos and boquichicos; birds as blue and red guacamayo; and mammals as otorongos, pumas, tigrillos, sachavaca, sajinos, huanganas, river wolfs, some monkeys and reptiles, between others. Quistococha Lake has an extension of 56 hectares, transparent and dark water due to the organic matters substances and an artificial beach called Tunchiplaya. Transfer to the city and to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 3rd Day: Zungarococha / Walk – Ride in Tahuampa / Fishing Tours Breakfast at the Hotel. Transportation to Santo Tomas Country Town, were we will board the typical boat “PAMACARI” that takes us to the Lodge. Reception at the Lodge with a typical welcome beverage. Allocation of rooms. Visit and walk by the facilities located in a tropical jungle environment. At the appropriate hour, we will have a guided walk by the jungle were we will appreciate a variety of botanical and insects species. In this opportunity we will combine the walk with a ride in canoe by the tahuampas (Flooded forest) to compare the different bio systems. Return to the Lodge for lunch. After a deserved rest, walk to Cocha Caballo to make a Fishing Tour. Return to Lodge and rest. Night ride sailing on ZUNGAROCOCHA Lake enjoying the magic sounds of the jungle. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. 4th Day: Zungarococha / Iquitos Very early, birdwatching in the surroundings of the lake. Breakfast in Zungarococha Bungalows. Transfer to the airport or to the city. This program includes: - Transportation airport / harbor / airport. - Transportation harbor / lodge / harbor. - 01 night at Zungarococha Bungalows with all the meals included (01 breakfast, 01 lunch and 1 dinner). - 02 nights at the selected hotel in Iquitos with breakfast included. - Tour to the joint of Amazonas River with Nanay River and visit a native community. - Visit to Butterflies zoo “ Pilpintihuasi” - Visit to Quistococha Zoo - Hiking in the jungle. - Bird watching tour. - Night walk. - English and Spanish speaking tour guide.
