El Zafiro has 19 luxurious suites that assure travelers the necessary privacy and tranquility to enjoy a privileged experience. All of the suites have panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that allow you to appreciate the immensity of the Peruvian Amazon from an intimate and exclusive setting.

Suites

Sixteen of the nineteen suites aboard Zafiro are 21m² and are divided between the first and second deck. Eight of them, located on the first deck, have panoramic windows from floor to ceiling that will allow to have you a continuous contact with the show that nature depicts along the Amazon. The eight suites located on the second deck have a private balcony overlooking the jungle, a venue that allows you to enjoy the journey in a unique way.

Four of these suites are interconnected; making it an ideal choice for family tourism.

Master Suite

The two master suites, 23m², are located at the bow of the boat, on the first deck. Its 90-degree view windows ensure a unique visual experience throughout the entire Amazonian expedition.

All the master suites are fully equipped with air conditioning, a private bathroom with 360 degree shower, a mini bar, Peruvian pima cotton sheets and exotic fruit-infused amenities, among other amenities.

Zafiro Suite

The Zafiro Suite, of 44.60m² and located on the second deck, has a 180-degree with panoramic windows to enjoy the landscape of the Peruvian Amazon and a private balcony. It is one of the most exclusive facilities of the cruise and offers travelers a unique and privileged way to feel the heartbeat of the Amazon.

This suite also has a private bathroom and living room and is fully equipped with air conditioning, a mini bar, Peruvian pima cotton sheets and exotic fruit-infused amenities, among other amenities.

You cannot get to know a new part of the world without savoring its cuisine. The dining room of Zafiro is one of the points from where you will experience the heart of the Amazon with unsurmountable intensity.

Peruvian cuisine is recognized as one of the best in the world. Their recipes reflect the three regional areas of the country: coast, sierra, and jungle… as well as a fusion of influences from different eras and immigrant cultures.

The cuisine aboard Zafiro is characterized by flavors and food extracted from the Amazon jungle; exotic fruits, regional vegetables, and species play an essential role in the gastronomic proposal of the cruise.

Diversity also plays its role in our dining room, where you can find lighter dishes and / or vegetarian options. In case of intolerances or special diets, our team will be in charge of offering a suitable option for each guest (Please inform us in advance of any food restrictions or special dietary needs).

Interior Lounge

The interior lounge area of the Zafiro has everything you need to recover after an intense day of excursions in the Amazon jungle. Enjoy the elegant relaxation and take a break.

Decorated with handicrafts made by the indigenous communities of the area and featuring large windows overlooking the Amazon, this venue becomes a corner from where you can continue discoverting.

The sofas with exterior views are an ideal setting to read, rest, and relax without missing a detail of what happens next to the river. The bar, located in this same space, is a unique meeting point where you can savor the most exotic cocktails in the region. In our 24 hour station you have access to coffee, tea, and snacks at any time of the day.

There are also moments where parties are held in the interior lounge, where you can enjoy live music and dance with our crew.

Exterior Lounge

Let yourself be caressed by the Amazonian breeze, enjoy the immense views of the river, and share moments of relaxation in the open air.

Our outdoor relaxation area, located on the upper level of the Zafiro, will allow you to take a break without losing a second of the details of what happens around the Amazon.

The cushioned deck chairs are a privileged space from which to feel the rhythm of the Amazon. The outdoor bar, located in this area of the boat, will allow you to enjoy the most refreshing cocktails at your best time of day.

While standing before the immensity of nature, only the authentic remains and there is no place for tensions, stress, or worries. It is in this environment that you find the best time to be free, pampered and relaxed.

In the Spa on board the Zafiro, you will have the opportunity to enjoy relaxing spa treatments such as aromatherapy or therapeutic massages.

Our wellness specialists will adapt their schedule to your needs for your convenience. If you prefer, spa treatments can be in-suite.

Activate your body in the Excersise Room

Exercising your body frees your spirit. Do not give up on exercising during your vacation.

Our on-board exercise room is equipped with an exercise treadmill and a stationary bicycle and has enough space for toning and cardio exercises without losing sight of the Amazonian landscape.

Jacuzzi- Just Relax

Finishing the day in a bubbly outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the Amazon is a dream come true. The Zafiro Jacuzzi, located on the outside of the boat, is the perfect setting for contemplation and taking in the sunset of the Peruvian jungle.

• Rates are expressed in US Dollars, per person, based on double occupancy.
• Single Supplement is 20% in addition to the adult rate.
• Child policy: 7 years old minimum on all departure. Children aged 11 or under are eligible for a 50% discount from the adult rate. Children must be accompanied for one or two adults in the same suite maximum one child per suite adult rate. The Zafiro suite accepts 2 children maximum.
• Requirement for boarding: present vaccination Card and negative COVID test, PCR with 72 hours or antigen with 48 hours in advance, must be sent prior to boarding.

Rate Inclusions:

• 1 night accommodation Hotel – City of Iquitos. (Only 8D/7N and 5D/4N Itineraries).
• Lunch is included before embarkation time in our hotel Double tree by Hilton Iquitos.
• All meals while on board MV Zafiro.
• All excursions & equipment (including rubber boots & rain ponchos).
• Transfers from / to the airport on the recommended flights. In case the passengers stay in Iquitos city hotels– please inform the sales & reservations department to coordinate the pick up or drop off service.
• Entrance fee to Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve.
• Natural juices, soda, coffee, tea, water and national alcoholic beverages of the house.

Rate Exclusions:

• Domestic flights.
• Cost of medical emergencies (including evacuation).
• Tipping guidelines. On board Zafiro we recommend an amount in the range of US $20 – $30 per passenger per night for the crew (to be divided among all the crew members) and between US $7 – $10 per passenger per night for the guides. * Please note that these amounts are suggested levels of gratuities and that this is entirely at the discretion of our guests aboard the vessels.

BOOKING POLICIES

Bookings and payment for Fit

For Bookings made 71days or more prior to the boarding date:

• A deposit of US$600 per person is required to confirm the reservation.
• Full payment must be cancelled 70 days before the boarding date. In case the full payment is not received on time, the reservation(s) will be automatically canceled.

For Reservations made during 70 days prior to the boarding date:

• Full payment is required to confirm the reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICIES

Fit Cancellation Policy:

For cancellations made 71 days or more prior to the boarding date:

• The deposit will be refunded.

For cancellations made during the 70 days prior to boarding date:

• There is not refund, the client may reschedule the trip with no Addittional charge for one single time.
• The total payment will be rescheduled according to the new boarding date; it must always be canceled 70 days before the boarding date.
• In case of rescheduling the trip for boarding dates during the year 2023, no fare difference will be applied.

** In case a guest tests COVID positive or gets sick, making travel impossible, the option to reschedule travel is provided as long as it within the next 12 months from the original departure date. A medical certifícate must be presented.

The health, safety and well-being of our passengers, as well as that of our crew, are top priority at Jungle Experiences. During these months of crisis due to COVID-19, we have worked together with health organizations to improve the health and safety measures.

OZONE GENERATORS TO DISINFECT ALL SUITES
Before check-in, we will use one of the most effective equipment for the disinfection and elimination of bacteria, fungi and viruses, as well as harmless to humans: Ozone Generators.

OUR PRE-BOARDING CONTROLS
Each of our passengers will undergo the necessary medical check-ups before boarding. If someone is considered at risk, additional tests will be submitted for the safety of all.
Moreover, to be allowed to board the cruise, each passenger must present:

• Completed COVID-19 vaccination record, according to the regulations of the traveler’s country of residence. You may present it in advance emailing [email protected], or in person to the Zafiro  crew before boarding.

• COVID-19 negative viral test result; PCR test taken in the last 72 hours before boarding, or antigen test taken in the last 24 hours before boarding. You must present the results to the Jungle Experiences crew before boarding. Moreover, if required, We  offer this service. You can request it in advance emailing [email protected], for programming and quoting.

ENHANCED SANITARY CARE MEASURES
In compliance with the protocols established by the Ministry of Health (MINSA), each cruise is cleaned and disinfected before setting sail. The cleaning and disinfection of high-traffic public areas and contact points will be intensified.

RESPONSIBLE SOCIAL DISTANCING
In order to guarantee responsible social distancing, we will monitor the capacity of public areas frequently throughout the trip.

THE SAFETY OF OUR CRUISES IS EXTENDED ALL THE WAY TO SHORE
As a precautionary measure, there might me slight changes in the itineraries, since we will only visit open and safe ports.

We will have a paramedic on board, duly trained to attend any possible case of COVID-19, as well as other illnesses.
