DAY 1 – SATURDAY:
IQUITOS – NAUTAUpon arrival at the airport, our staff will be on hand to assist you and to give you a warm welcome to the city of Iquitos. We will now board what will be your home for the next eight days: the Crucero Amazonas. Following a routine safety drill and introduction to our guide, you can comfortably settle into your rooms as you begin one of life’s greatest adventures. Our Executive Chef will surprise you with innovative Amazonian cuisine as we sail down the Amazon River. Bartending lessons scheduled prior to the dinner.
DAY 2 – SUNDAY
TAMSHIYACU – YARAPA – PUERTO MIGUELAfter a hearty buffet-style breakfast, the navigation continues along the Amazon River. We will have a skiff excursion down the Taripa Creek before lunch. In the afternoon, head out on the skiff to look for birds, monkeys, and other animals in the Yarapa River (Black water tributary of the Ucayali River).
DAY 3 – MONDAY
PUERTO MIGUEL – YANALLPAContinue navigation while having breakfast. We will have an exciting activity on board before lunch: Pisco lessons. Learn the history and distillation techniques of the country’s signature drink from our barman. Taste a number of varieties, then watch as he turns them into a traditional Pisco Sour. In the afternoon, a river exploration of Yanallpa Creek on the skiff.
DAY 4 – TUESDAY
SUPAY – MATSES – NAUTAAn early exploration on the Supay Creek before a visit to the Matses community to interact with our Amazonian neighbors. We will return to the cruise ship and continue navigation. After lunch, we will see where the Ucayali and Marañón Rivers converge to form the mighty Amazon River. Back on the cruise ship, our Executive Chef will lead a very entertaining cooking class.
DAY 5 – WEDNESDAY
NAUTA – NAUTA CAÑOWe will have an early boating excursion on the Nauta Caño, a tributary of the Marañon River, where we will have the chance to spot wildlife. We will go back to the cruise ship for breakfast. After lunch, trekking through the Fundo Casual, a tropical forest run by local residents, where we will see different species of local fauna. We will also have a skiff excursion along the Nauta Caño Creek looking for alligators. Before going back to the cruise ship, we will observe the colors of the sunset over the river and wait until dusk to listen to the sounds emitted by the nature. We will finish the day off with a delicious dinner.
DAY 6 – THURSDAY
NAUTA CAÑO – YANAYACU PUCATEEarly navigation in our river skiffs on the Yanayacu River in search of wildlife, especially the famous pink Amazon River dolphins. We will return aboard to enjoy a delicious and revitalizing breakfast. This morning you are welcome to spend some leisure time, resting in your room or enjoying the facilities and services on board. Clear your mind with a rejuvenating massage, relax by the outdoor jacuzzi or simply enjoy the breathtaking scenery on the fourth deck. After lunch, later in the afternoon, we will have the opportunity to explore the Pucate River by skiff, to spot monkeys, birds, and other species.
DAY 7 – FRIDAY
YANAYACU PUCATE – LAS PALMAS COMMUNITYBefore breakfast, we will visit Las Palmas community, a village surrounded by beauty and tropical splendor. You will enjoy the biodiversity and impressive views, besides learning about their customs and lifestyle. They will also teach you how to use the blowgun, spear, and arch as hunting weapons. This is also where we can spot lizards and sloths. Before lunch, we will take you to the black water stream called Shiriyacu to fish piranhas, using traditional and local techniques. In the afternoon, we will explore a small tributary of the Marañón river, Pahuachiro Creek, to look for wildlife. This evening after dinner, we will go up to the third deck for a memorable farewell cocktail and dinner.
DAY 8 – SATURDAY
NAUTA – IQUITOSOur final breakfast on board will be a little earlier than usual so that we have plenty of time to pack up and check-out. We will disembark at Nauta Port where the bus will be waiting to take us back to Iquitos. We will make one last memory at the Manatee Rescue Center, a very special kind of animal orphanage for Amazonian manatees. This is where the aquatic mammals and other endangered wildlife are rescued, rehabilitated and finally released into the wild. Our bus will take us to the airport, where our staff will be on hand to offer extra help if needed. We hope you have had a magical adventure! Note: The itineraries and programs may vary depending on the climate, water level of the river or migratory cycle of the animals. Therefore, it is possible that the navigation route, schedules and excursions may need to be modified at the guide’s or cruise captain’s discretion. The visit to the native communities is an excellent way to contribute to their development since the villagers have the opportunity to sell their one-of-a-kind handicrafts. There is no commitment, but if you are planning on buying a gift or souvenir, we suggest bringing some cash with you.

Cruise rates include all meals, soft drinks and wine with meals, accommodation, excursions, personalized assistance, tour guides, gratuities and National Reserve entrance fees.
- FIT´s RESERVATIONS & PAYMENTS: A deposit of US$ 650.00 non-refundable per person is required to confirm the booking. The final balance is required 100 days prior to departure. If the payment is not received on time, the space(s) will be automatically released.
- FIT´s CANCELLATION POLICY: Changes to departure date, substitutions of itinerary; substitutions of another for original booked guest(s); or changing to a promotional fare. All cancelations must be in writing.
- Cancellations made 131 days or more before departure: The deposit will be refunded, less a 35% of full fare.
- Cancellations made 130 to 101 days prior to departure: The deposit will be refunded, less a 55% of full fare.
- Cancellations made 100 to 0 days prior to departure: Full payment will be applied as a cancellation penalty.
